What is blue spirulina?
That blue? It's not dye — it's food. Blue spirulina is a bright blue superfood made from algae, and it's how Coco Blue gets its ocean color without a drop of artificial dye.
Conventional drinks get their color from stuff like Blue #1 and titanium dioxide. We get ours from algae. Simple as that.
Coconut water: hydration, the way nature packaged it
Long before neon sports drinks, there was coconut water — the clear liquid inside a young green coconut, and nature's original way to hydrate.
It's naturally loaded with potassium and other electrolytes, plus a little natural sugar — everything your body needs to actually put them to use. That's why we build Coco Blue on real coconut water instead of a pinch of lab-made salts.
Watch it turn blue
- 1
Rip
Tear open a single-serve stick — or scoop straight from the pouch. One serving, no measuring.
- 2
Pour
Add to 12–16 oz of cold water and give it a swirl. The blue spirulina turns it ocean-blue as it dissolves.
- 3
Sip
Before a workout, after a sauna, on a hike — or just because it's hot outside.
All of the best. None of the worst.
Most electrolyte mixes are synthetic minerals, dyes and sweeteners in a stick pack. We took the other road.
A little real sugar = better hydration
Here's what nobody tells you: a little natural sugar actually helps your body soak up water — it's a big reason coconut water hydrates so well. So instead of stevia or monk fruit, we keep the small amount of real sugar that comes with coconut water and fruit.
Not a salt bomb
Most electrolyte drinks are basically salt bombs — some pack over 1,000mg of sodium. But most of us already get way too much salt and not enough potassium. Coco Blue flips it: more potassium from real coconut water, and less of the salt you're already getting plenty of.
