Why Coconut Water Comes First in Coco Blue

Most of the formula starts with the first ingredient. For Coco Blue, that is evaporated coconut water powder.

Why coconut water comes first

We use pure evaporated coconut water powder as the base of the mix. It gives Coco Blue its lightly tropical starting point before the citrus, blue spirulina, and sea salt join the pouch.

What we leave out

Some powdered drink mixes use carrier or bulking ingredients such as maltodextrin. Those ingredients can be easy to miss when you are scanning a long label for the main ingredients. We prefer to make our choice plain: Coco Blue uses pure evaporated coconut water powder without maltodextrin or fillers.

Then come the bright notes

Organic freeze-dried lemon juice powder and organic freeze-dried lime juice powder bring the citrus. Organic blue spirulina supplies the natural blue color. Sea salt rounds out the five-ingredient formula.
